Porsche 959 оказал непосредственное и бесспорное влияние на развитие суперкаров во время своего выпуска в 1986 году, и уважение к самобытному немецкому спортивному автомобилю со временем, похоже, только возросло. На мероприятии в Швейцарии, аукционный дом RM Sothebys выставит на продажу один из 292 экземпляров спорткара Porsche 959. В версии Komfort они получали кожаный салон, кондиционер и регулируемую подвеску.



Под капотом Porsche 959 стоит 2,8-литровая «шестерка» мощностью 450 л.с. Коробка передач — 5-ступенчатая «механика». Разгон до «сотни» за 3,9 секунды. Максимальная скорость — 317 км/ч.



Выставленный на продажу экземпляр одни из семи заказных королевской семьей Катара. Он окрашен в цвет Wine Red Metallic. «Королевский» спорткар оснащен креслами с подогревом и электрорегулировками, фирменной противоугонной системой и кассетной магнитолой Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46.
